About
Ken Gober grew up in Gary, Indiana. In his early twenties, cocaine had hold of him. Rehab is where he put it down — by God's mercy and grace, as he tells it — and he left for Atlanta a different man.
Music carried him the rest of the way around the world. He joined the band Exotique and spent years on stages from international tours to the Las Vegas Strip, learning what it takes to hold a room. Then he left the band, because a voice that has been through something needs its own songs to sing.
Today he records inspirational music, and the stage show holds all of it — soul, R&B, inspiration, every one of them with a positive message. He calls it Songs That Matter.
